Co-founder of Pennsylvania Pain & Spine Institute Robert Kelly, DO, shares, “As our practice expands, we continue to focus on minimally invasive treatments aimed at minimizing pain and returning patients to their daily functions. With this goal in mind, we hired Dr. Fang because he is trained in the most advanced and safest methods for relieving pain and restoring function.”
Dr. Fang has expertise in treating complex pain conditions related to injury, illness, cancer and other age related conditions. He can perform various in office and outpatient procedures including spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pain pumps, radio-frequency ablation, and facet injections, as well as regenerative therapies that use the body’s own cells for healing.
When asked what he is looking forward to the most Dr. Fang says, “I’m really looking forward to getting to know my patients, learning about their histories and unique circumstances and developing personal treatment plans. I love working with the elderly population because I was raised by my grandparents. Living with and caring for their needs gave me perspective regarding the daily aches and pains the aging population experiences and was a major driving factor in pursing my career in pain medicine.”
Dr. Fang is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, North American Neuromodulation Society, and the International Spine Intervention Society. In addition to English, Dr. Fang is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
According to co-founder David Qu, MD, “We brought on Dr. Fang to keep up with patient demand. In fact, Dr. Fang is the third provider we added in the last year. I think we can attribute our practice success to taking the time to get to know our patients and providing therapies unavailable at other practices. We know that many times people suffer in silence as their pain can’t be seen or appreciated by other people. We take the time to discover the source of pain and tailor treatment plans accordingly. Most importantly, we don’t rely solely on medication for relief. We seek out the newest and most advanced approaches for relief as they are safer and provide longer term pain relief. We welcome patients seeking second opinions.”
The group now sees patient in three convenient locations: The Highpoint Professional Center, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 206 in Chalfont, PA; The Atrium Building, 127 S. 5th St, Suite 180 in Quakertown, PA; and at the Masons Mill Business Park, 1800 Byberry Road, #703 in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
